Since 2021, driven by conviction and a desire to set an example, the team at the Grand Site de France Solutré Pouilly Vergisson has been training, developing, and leading numerous initiatives to promote sustainable development. The primary objective is to reduce the environmental impact of professional and daily practices.

Trained in resource conservation and waste reduction , the Grand Site team has notably renewed its professional practices and habits to serve the sustainable development of the territory. It thus provides a response to major environmental challenges, such as climate change, the decline of biodiversity and resources, and waste management.

To share and extend these practices more widely, the approach led to the creation of the " guide to good practices " which raises awareness among local stakeholders and visitors so that they, in turn, adopt the good practices.
