Practical information

• Maximum number per activity: 1 class (30 students maximum)
• The mandatory number of guides varies depending on the activity and level. For more information, refer to the educational sheet for each activity.
• Usual activity hours: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 13:30 p.m. to 15:30 p.m.
• Duration of activities: Museum visits – 1h30 / workshops – 1h30 / nature escapades – 2h
• Members of the group can have their meal at the Maison du Grand Site: in the garden or in the off-sac room in case of bad weather. This lunch break lasts at least one hour to allow the mediators to tidy up the activity rooms and have their meal.
• The group leader is required to go to the Prehistory Museum reception at lunchtime to pay for the day (by check or voucher).
• In the event of an unforeseen delay, notify the facilitators as soon as possible on 03 85 35 83 23. The activity initially planned will be readjusted according to the remaining time.
• Bring appropriate clothing for children for workshops (sometimes messy) and escapades (cap, sneakers, rain gear, bottle of water).

Rules

• The regulations have been established to offer the best visiting conditions, while respecting everyone.

• The group leader is required to stay close to his group.
• Waste must be sorted and placed in the bins provided.
• It is forbidden to climb on metal benches or on dry stone walls which are fragile.
• The group must take care not to disturb visitors present on the site.

rates

For the day: €9 per student, free for accompanying adults

• 1 guided tour of the Prehistory Museum and 1 workshop* 
• 1 getaway to the Roche de Solutré and 1 workshop*
• 1 guided tour of the Prehistory Museum and 1 nature getaway to the Roche de Solutré

Half-day: €5 per student, free for accompanying adults

• 1 guided tour of the Prehistory Museum or 1 nature getaway to the Roche de Solutré

*A practical workshop cannot be chosen alone. It must be accompanied by a guided tour or a nature getaway in a “day” package.
