A passionate...and exciting team
It is through passion and skills that a Grand Site comes to life. They have no shortage of passion when it comes to making visitors' eyes shine. As for skills, they have so many of them that you have to be agile to reconcile the preservation of natural spaces and tourist attendance at a site. Prehistorians, facilitators, cultural mediators, landscape and natural heritage managers, qualified dry stone workers or accompanying guides… the team at the Grand Site de France Solutré Pouilly Vergisson reflects its image: its diversity is its richness!
The agents of the Grand Site implement the decisions taken by theDepartmental assembly and by the Permanent Commission of Department of Saône-et-Loire.
They are responsible for the site management throughout the territory. They develop projects, seek funding, monitor landscape and heritage restoration projects, welcome the public to the House of the Grand Site and Prehistory Museum, supervise the educational activities and events developed by the Grand Site throughout the year.
